Exhausts ??

Looking for some info again folks. Can anyone rate the Christopher Neil performance exhaust? Or has anyone got a better idea? I'm looking for my motor to sound awesome as it already looks and handles awesomely. Cheers in anticipation.

Try Sprint Racing Products at Bridgewater in Somerset. They replaced mine with a competition system, cat replacement pipe and it is excellent. Even my Lotus dealer recons that this alone has added 10bhp. They are nice people to deal with too.

Mine's got a Janspeed sports exhaust with cat bypass pipe on it and it sounds fantastic, it even pops and farts on the overrun !!!, well worth a look at.

I've also got a Janspeed with cat pipe and can highly recommend it.

I've heard that by-pass pipes are illegal. Does anybody have any good 'reasons/excuses' if you get caught having one fitted!!!!

i have the Chris Neil pipe on my car and its probably the nicest after market exhaust i've ever used.

you should take a look at www.lotuselise.at under section nuts and bolts-exhausts. Here you can see the differences between standaard-Janspeed and Chris Neil exhausts. You can even hear the differendes !!

On my new elise (1000 km's) i have some resonances in the damper at 2200 rpm when the engine is cold. Is this a known problem ?
