Does anyone else have this problem - my Elise just refuses to turn over when left overnight without its cover. Is this normal or has my battery had it. I'm off down to halford to get a power pack - but it could get nasty if I'm not at home.

Also - the window seems to have hopped out of its track. I assume this is just a case of taking the inside door cover off and popping it back.

sounds like a duff battery - however mine needs driving at least once a week or it goes flat dont think its the battery as its less than 12mnths old.

So I'm thinking about getting a trickle charger to plug into the cig lighter.

But for the time being I will just have to drive it regularly - not much of a hardship !

The window which has come out of the plastic brackets will need to be glued back into position with something like arldite.

Then go to halfords and get some rubber lubricant comes in a yellow can and spray that on the window guide rubbers to lessen the resistance on the window so it doesnt pull out of the brakets again.

Silicon spray id the thing for the window.

For the charger, I recommend an optimate (or optimate II, whichever is the model on sale now).

You can get a fair few accessories, so, for example, you can attach it with clips, cigarette lighter socket, or a new socket where you want one. I left mine on one constantly, and never had to worry about the battery.

You'll need to check if the lighter socket is always on, or is switched. If it's switched, you'll need to rewire it, fit a new one, or put the clips straigh ton to the battery terminals.
