Tesco Insurance top again!

Got my renewel through from those very nice people at Tescos.
Car: 2002/52 Elise 111S.
Me: 28 years old, max NCB, no points/claims, good postcode, garaged, BiB Class 1 (Not that it helps).

Cost Fully Comp: £580

Next nearest was Elephant at £610, then DirectLine at £680.
Jolly well done Tesco I say. And you always get through to a HUMAN, and its always FOC cover to take out a demonstrator for a day. Some much for the so-called "specialists" who were not even in the ball park.

Tesco are great

I've got a 2002/52 Sports Tourer, I'm 22 living at good postcode with only 2 years no claims and my insurance is about £1600 No-one else would even insure me! I heard they put it up alot after the first year but sounds like it could just be rumours then...hope so

James - nope! I've been with Tescos 3 years now. This years renewel was £70 CHEAPER than last years premium. I suppose that accounts for the car being worth a bit less and me being a bit older and wiser. (Ha ha!)

Elephant were 25% cheaper than Tesco for me.

Well, I contine to be amazed by Tescos. Phoned them up, asked if I could add the missus to the policy. Certainly they said, that will be £35. LESS!!!!
Putting her on, knocked £35 OFF the premium. So it's now £545 FC.
Icing on the cake? I ask if I can add her to my current policy for the next 10 days until I renew. Certainly say Tescos, that will be free.
