Fire Extinguisher Mounting

I've got the extinguisher already and want to put it in front of the passenger seat. I may be stupid but how do you mount it there securely? Do you have to drill holes in the aluminium or what?! Does this come out to make it easier? Can anyone help?!

Yes, you have to drill holes in the aluminium floor in order to fit the rivnuts to screw the fixing into. There are very clear instructions on the exact places to drill in the Service Manual. I followed the instructions in the service manual and although it was scary, it went very well:
