Elise S2 driving light removal

Hi,

I picked up a 2005 111R (awesome car) last week and on the way back to France I picked up a stone that has cracked my driving/fog light. I've got a new one on order, but I can't find any links on how to change them. Can anybody on here point me in the right direction.

Pop out the indicator above the broken light. Towards the front of the car you will find a 8mm bolt. It is one of 2 on the same bracket. Drop the bracket then take the light off the bracket.
The bracket bolt is a PIG, a real swine. I took an hour with a ratchet spanner.... have fun

Yep, I did this earlier this year, it's a right b******* so I would advise doing it on a Sunday afternoon with some classical music playing softly in the background and a young (preferably attractive) lady on hand to give you an occasional back massage. I think one of the bolts is accessible through the main front grille but I ended up having to saw the bracket in half with a dremel and it now is only held with one bolt, much swearing and gnashing of teeth. Have fun.

Cheers lads, can't wait to tackle that job I've changed Impreza STI Blobeye headlights which are pigs to change, so this shouldn't be much of a challenge; I hope

Lol @ loudman! - I must admit I had classic fm on in the background.

Don't try without a ratchet spanner. There is only about 10 degrees of movement so it has to be a good /fine ratchet to do the job. You will also find that the bolt is about 3 times longer than necessary.

I did mine when I took the clam off. I imagine its a right pig of a job without such access.
