Hi, new member here, living near Chester-le-Street, Co. Durham. If there is no local group here, are you interested in setting one up?

I live in Durham and have a S2 and am looking forward to some meets/runs etc.North yorks owners club is not that far away, nice ride out on a nice evening. It might be best to write a message on BBS Lotus forum as this is the one most people use to spread info etc.

There is apparently a group that meets at the Newburn Motor Museum in Lemington, but I'm not sure when exactly. I'll keep chasing that up.

Further research suggests that it's a Lotus 7 Owners Club, so they may not be interested in our namby-pamby modern cars, with all that reliability and weather protection! Will keep checking though.

Yeah, I've just traded in my mark1 for a mark2, but I'm in a bit of a difficult situation. I've just had a baby (he's 10 weeks, and more gorgeous than any car!)
But I blame post-pregnancy insanity, because I was looking at the 111s Type 25 (the garish thing with the green/yellow paint job) and fell in love. Hubby's been brilliant, he even finished work early so I could just go out to drive the car for 2 hours.
