Help! Centre Console Issues

Need a bit of a hand here. Just got my nicely retrimmed gear lever/handbrake console back from B&C and have absolutely no idea how to get it back on the car. It came off easily enough with just a bit of flexing but it won't go back now it's covered in leather. Just spent 20 mins sitting in the car staring at it and waiting for inspiration but to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Unscrew the gearknob and you'll find it easier. IIRC it slots into the rear, then there are some clips on the front end on the inside and a small retaining screw.

Cheers SWorks. Do you mean unbolt the actual gear "stick" from the unit?
