modifying an exige s?

Hi All

Toying with the idea of buying an Exige S. Saw one the other day in black and thought it looked amazing. I probaly could only afford an exige s---one of the earlier 220bhp cars.

Ive been reading up on them and looking into mods. My understanding is the n/a version produce 190bhp and the supercharger adds only 30bhp becoz the engine is fundamentaly a high compression engine with no reinforced internals so hence runs low psi.

I was wondering if a decompression plate would allow one to run higher psi? has anyone tried this? id imagine this would be a cheapish performance mod and just require a pulley change.

Also Ive read about stroker kits for the 2zzfe increasing capacity to 2000cc...anyone looked into these?

Get yourself on SELOC or exiges.com for a group buy. For about £1K you can get a widely accepted and proven upgrade to 240hp retaining stock internals.

what upgrade are you talking about?

Basically it's an upgrade from Sinclaires, different injectors, tuning etc. Almost a default upgrade for an S. You can then go on with chargecooling etc and achieve silly numbers if you want to spend more.
