what exhaust to go for?

Hi All,

Anybody got a recommendation for a sports exhaust for my s1? I think that I would like a popping noise, but would like the views of others that have been here!

Good question Mine only pops on overrun whilst the engine is cold would be great if I could have it all the time, esp. at 6am to annoy the neighbours!

You can't go wrong with the Janspeed exhaust. Has a fantastic top end noise on it, but will also burble along at low RPM as well.

am i expecting too much to hope that they also will not be too loud on motorways?

I found one over at moto that almost seemed too good to be true!

How much is the janspeed and is there a web site to check it out on?

Get a SS exhaust - and dont go for anything thats too loud - what with the cat bypass pipe i had fitted and the K&N you wont be able to hear shit !

I had a Janspeed on last car - lovely sound
specially the popping you wanted..
