Any of you guys putting a bid on the lotus enhanced Lada from top gear on Ebay? That thing did look pretty cool on the show.

if Lotus spent 100K on it surely it's worth £5,500?

They didn't spend £100k on it. They put in a LOT of hours of free labour on it that, if charged at full consultancy rates, would have been around £100k.

i remember the guy who they did it for, looked like a right plonker (if im right).

i dont think he looked after it!

Flickin ungrateful, isn't it?

Plenty of people would love a Lotus make over on their everyday car, I know I would. Plus, I'd never sell it as I'd consider myself very lucky. If however, I did have to, I'd not insult their efforts by chucking it for so little. If I really didn't want it for much, I'd donate it to a charity auction...

That guy really doesn't know what he has there.
