I am trying to establish a list of S1 Elise stockists for what I think will be a long hunt for my next Elise. I plan to contact all dealers and suppliers with my specification but if PH could help with me any recommendations for sources, suppliers, stockists etc it would be greatly appreciated.

So far I have identified the following sites:

> Pistonheads Classified
> Autotrader
> Car and Classic
> Hi-Torq
> Pure Lotus
> Nutley Sports
> Barry Ely Sports Cars
> Seloc

I would also be interested to hear any stories of people who have managed to locate their Elise from a random source, this will boost my moral.

Thanks for the help.

If you're looking for trustworthy dealers, I'd add Paul Matty Sportscars to the list. They advertise on Pistonheads, anyway, though.

Think I need someone to source and inspect a car for me, all the sensible priced(cheaper) cars are at the other end of the country and I've not driven enough to spot a good one from a bad one requiring new suspension etc.
I'm also too tight/poor to spend lots of money at a dealer! wink

Is this what WillB does or is he more of a full time dealer/trader??

edit:-
Really looking for a S2 111s, with fsh and less than 50k or an S2 with the touring pack and the later short roof.

Hi All,

Thanks for the recommendations, much appreciated.

This is one of mine:-

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/classifieds/1138257.h...

I'm also getting a 2004MY S2 111S in Magnetic dark blue with touring pack/black leather, full service history and 21,000m, priced around £14k-14500.

I always try to price my cars sensibly, so they sell fairly quickly.

If anyone's looking for a particular car, let me know:-

The main problem at the moment is finding decent cars as people are tending to hang onto what they've got

Thanks everyone for your replies so far. Some sites I was not aware of.

WillB, hope to get you a wish list in the not so distant future. Only just really started to seriously look again recently, any help is always appreciated.
