Hi,

Since having my clam removed and re-fitted the front of my passenger door clips the front clam upon opening. I am more and more conscious of it cracking/splitting the bodywork if the door is swung open that I wonder if there is an easy way to either adjust the door or the clam to stop it making contact.

Any suggestions appreciated (it's a S2 111S).

Many thanks,
Carl

From what you say the clam hasn't been aligned properly so it's a case of adjusting that and not the door.

On my S1 there are spacer washers at every screw-point. Obviously these havn't gone back on in the same location/numbering that they came off.
I would suggest you take it back to whomever did it and ask them to sort it out...

Had this. Could be the bolt holding the clam in by the door is loose, or the captive nut erm isnt. The clam is probably sticking out a bit. If the bolt isnt loose try loosening it, push the clam inward a bit and nip the bolt up. I have cured mine with a bit of duct tape till the next service as the captie nut is no longer captive!
