hi guys,

i didnt want to hijjack the other thread so i thought id start my own!

i have the CN one as mentioned, but i wanted to know basically how long they "last?" generally.

ok, ok stop laughing. i just want the excuse of having a new one!

like i say, i like boominess, popping, and something to wake up the neighbours. the boomy/noisier, the better

suggestions? i think mine is "on the way out"

Larini sounds good, but the eliseparts one seems to be better for performance. any ideas on sound?

When I spoke with Geary of EliseParts at the recent Stonleigh gig, he was actually trying to steer me away from teh EliseParts exhaust towards the Piper one, saying that he didn't feel able to compete with either them or Janspeed.

Draggy you bugger!!! Stop getting confused between S1 and S2 type exhausts, they're different!! Larini are still working on an S1 exhaust so I've no idea how it will sound and if it will be similar to the S2.

Just get the Eliseparts one through our friendly neighbourhood TVR driving Bruce!!

Cheers,
Rob

hopefully larini will sort out an S1 version by then!

cheers MP for the tip. the best thing to do is probably listen to them!

Knowing the products and workmanship of the CN empire I would give your exhaust till about the end of the week.

Still bitter and twisted about not being able to use my window as I have not had the time to fix it yet and refuse to waste time taking it back again.

A screw in part of the winder mechanism keeps comming out at which point it tilts forward and sticks. You can wiggle it up to the closed position by hand but there it stays until sorted.

Not too bad in winter its just a pain to have to open the door to get parking tickets etc.

Takes about 20min to fix if you know what your about so I'm guessing at about 60min + for the job, however its very cold in the garage just now!

You forget my dislike of spending the cash - matched with the enjoyment of a bit o tinkering.

I'll wait till tammy huff time and escape to the garage for a bit of quite.
