Considering test driving some S1's but if I get one I will be parking on road and am interested in knowing how leaky these little beasties are in the wet.

Have seen a couple advertised with hard tops in the classifieds which seems like a good compromise.

Any tips, suggestions?

Also for a first timer, can anyone recommend anywhere in Kent where I could take a test drive?

sell shower-caps which will prevent ANY leaks, as it covers all such points on the car!

if its wet, any road will be good, as you wont be able to realise its full potential on anything else but a twisty road in the wet!

have fun!

S Works,

I use my car all year round and have to park outside, it has a hard top (and... coincidentally is for sale in the classifieds section!). Depends where in Kent you are, if you can get to Canterbury, I found the sales side of Motorway Sports to be very helpful, and happy to arrange a test drive.

I have emailed you with some additional info about a few things (...very mysterious!), but it's a totally realistic prospect using your Elise as a year round, only car!
