Ms Bonce: urmmm ok.

Ms Bogie: honey...what about you?

Ms Gfun: get your finger out your arse Geoff

Gfun: sorry

Ho Ho Ho as the fat man says!

Strictly speaking I want my own TVR, I'm quite happy for Bruce to keep his

I'd also like it though if Ms B19GRR could afford to buy me a new TVR full stop

LOL, Mrs Bonce is a teacher so the most extravagent car related purchase her finances can stretch to is a Pistonheads beanie hat.

Oh well, I can dream. Good luck with the smilie addiction mate!

Nonono, we're not married, it's just a standard Pistonheads thing to call one's partner Mrs or Mr regardless of marital status.

Very amusing - Mrs fun always gets worried when I buy a magazine - or when I look at a car and say 'that looks nice'

However I still don’t have a real time link to Parkers price guide. Perhaps Mrs would consider it as an incentive to get rid - she blamed losing a tooth filling on it last week (vibration plus clenched teeth).

Not sure she will ever be a Lotus fan.

And she blames the car? That's hardly fair!

Hey she hit the gate post in her car a few weeks ago - and that was my fault for parking it wrong.

The best was when we were run into whilst stopped at lights - my fault too!

At least the clenched teath were my fault - I had forgotten her blindfold and ear plugs !

LOL

Lessons...well erm...it does help if you :

find a woman thats into cars
find a woman that likes driving your Elise as much as you do
...and she earns more money than you...and owns her own pad...and lets you sell yours...and spend money on your car ....for now ...sooner or later we will be having kids and settling down etc...so I guess she sees it as an investment for when she can give up work !

the other factor in my Elise modifying programme is that I dont pay for any maintenance, tyres, road tax etc on my car, and my car allowance from my job covers the payment on the finance.....so all I do is insure it and spend the rest of my spare cash on mods. They do of course think Im mad at work for doing 25-30K miles a year in an Elise rather than a Beemer 320D or such like

you make your own luck....and then make careful decisions, and take the right opportunites when they present themselves

...shes getting her own Elise next year, so that should stop the arguments on whose driving !

ps - whats even worse is that she only drives it at weekends and occasionally in the week when I need to borrow her car for long business trips with passengers etc...then we go to the track and she just jumps in it and proceeds to lap within a second or so of my times !
