Immobilser on Elise Mk2

Hi all

I am back trying to get some insurance quotes for the Mk2 and was wondering what immobilser it comes with? I think its a Cobra but what model? Anyone know?

The S2 comes with Meta cat 1 with alarm

You better double check this, Cobra 6019 HF, you may need to provide documented proof that you have this fitted before the theft cover takes effect.

S2's come with Meta alarm/immobilisers one of them is the M99T2 and cant remember the other but it is m99 something (same as on the Tuscan)

Well I did have an Elise fitted with this system so I can have a go at answering you questions. Question away!

Older S2's came with the Meta M99T2, later models have received the Cobra 8185 Immobiliser and optinally a Cobra 8186 alarm.
