Collected my car from Sinclaires last night, WOW...

The guys have done a fantastic job, replacing my bald P0's for a complete set of Yoko Neo Advans LTS just in time for winter. Geo done at the same time since well overdue, car now feels like new!

If anyone is debating the change to Yoko's, drop me an email and I'll be pleased to share my experiances.

Now I off to scrub that rubber so I can exploit the car's power!!!

What did the geo check cost? I'm thinking of getting mine done for the summer

Hi Mr Toad,

My geo cost alot more than £150 but only because my LSS needed a complete overhaul...ouch! Normally though Sinclaires quote a basic inspection of around £80, then the price climbs dependent on what needs doing. They had plently of time to explain to a novice like me how the alterations affect the car's handling. I find Britain's piss poor roads knock the settings out after around a year, so definately worth a check up.

I am no driving guru but cornering at any speed, turn in is far easier. I suppose you would call this sharper, feel is superb! Should get out on track, any suggestions?

Interesting thread, and something which I don't know a great deal about - from a previous question though I know we're pretty much on the subject of what I always knew as "tracking" before I got the 'liz.

I recently got new boots - would I need to get a geo check done after that? Sorry if it's a numpty question but the car seems fine, if not quicker, with the Advans!

New tyres don't require it. Good to have it done once a year though as the Elise is very sensitive to it.
