Elise S1 rear wheel needed.

I'm looking for an early style (5 spoke) rear wheel. Had a bit of a 'coming together' with someone who lost control of their car whilst undertaking me. The wheel must be in mint condition and a tyre is not important.

Anyone got one for sale or know how much they usually go for?
The Lotus dealer say they are not made anymore and that is why the insurance company havent paid them to fit one yet.

Just rang them this afternoon, they dont have any in.
It was only a gentle bump but the damage to the wheel is possibly more than just cosmetic. Either way its getting replaced just be on the safe side.

What kind of damage? Is it gouged etc, or very minor cosmetic stuff? Does it balance correctly?

If so your best bet may well be getting it refurbed for roughly 50 quid. It will look as good as new (seriously), the only issue is if its been sufficiently damaged so as not to balance etc. Don't just trust the balancing machine though, observe it to see if it rotates up and down etc, as the balancing machine only checks in one plane.

Other option is to post on seloc classifieds and british-cars bbs with a 'want to buy'. You may get lucky.
