Just a short note to say we will be exhibiting at the Stonleigh Lotus Show next Sunday.
We will have the Duratec engined Elise on the stand too along with many new products that are not on our website as yet.We will also have our stripped down Elise that people had alot of fun with last year.
Owen/Racespeed will be there too along with several other Elise/Exige/340 specialists.
There will be many special offers available and as usual anyone purchasing parts from Eliseparts this week will get them at the show prices.
Will be nice to put some faces to the names we have dealt with over the past year or so and look forward to seeing you there.

Cheers

Geary & Joy

I would but as usual at this time of year (between the start of January and the end of December) I'm skint.

Regrettably wont be able to attend this weekend as am still trying to convince my bank that spending £14K on a two seater Lotus made good fiscal sense. However, do want to add some extras to my S1 (such as alloy handbrake grip/indicator stalks/heater controls & perspex headlight covers etc) so was wondering where you would be next showing after the 16th. Oh and the nearer to Yorkshire you are the better.

some little scrote threw a brick from a bridge

luckily no damage was caused (although i nearly caused a pile-up), but i was/am

after giving statements to the BiB, i've decided to not go, because im too pissed off.

if i ever catch the little er, im going to rip his head off, and then plunge a knife into his scrotum.

Bloody hell man!!! Glad to hear you're OK, which bridge was the brick chucked from? I once had some tw@s drop some gravel on me from a bridge back in my old MX5 days. Naturally I spent a long time cursing our countries strict gun laws!!

Take it easy, go and play on some nice twisty road for a bit!!

Shit, that's bad stuff. Glad you're OK. So did you manage to swerve or stop to avoid it?

the slip road, is only wide enough for one car, at the point where the brick came flying down, meaning i couldnt swerve.

i just slammed the brakes on really hard, and steered the car to go over the brick, as it bounced.

it wasnt "hollywood" close but close enough.

a car behind me actually drove over the brick as his wheels locked up. he was very, very pissed off.

we waited at the bottom for a while when the police turned up.

all in all, a planned day ruined.

maybe next time

Bleedin hell !...sounds like a close call.

A friend of mine was travelling through London to work one day. He was at a standstill and a 20ft long RSJ fell off the scaffolding at a building site and speared his car right behind the drivers seat !...how lucky...he would have been dead...hes just got the compensation through...a measly £800 ...of course they paid for the repairs for his car.

Hope they get the idiots
