can you convert 2002 to new roof model ?

I was wondering if anyone has converted there elise roofs to the new sort and if any one had any idea of price. many thanks in advance for any replies

Yes you can, I believe you have to if you want to fit a Lotus hardtop. AFAIK you need to replace the rollover cover panel. No idea of the price though, maybe check in with Bell & Colvill, probably stupidly expensive knowing Lotus.

Haven't had it done mself, but if you want to fit the Lotus hardtop then you also need to have the car converted to accept it (and switch to the 'short' softtop).

The modifications include new welded brackets on the rollbar (and old ones cut/ground off), new rollbar cover, additional rubber seals and some other small odds and ends.
