Is that it then ? No waves or kisses :P

I sometimes see a blue S1, that has parked next to me a number of times at Jarman Park and I also see a green S2 in Berkhamsted.

Sorry mate I was in a rush earlyer. None of those are mine. I've got an Ice Blue S2. Will give you a wave next time I see ya.
You must be brave to park up at Jarmans. I take the birds company car to go up there.

Ill ask my girlfriend this evening as she lives there not me, Im live in Guildford where there are about 1000000 S2s around, we all wave at eachother and wink except from some moody S1 driver with a red soft top who always ignores me lol seen him about 4 times now.

Also noticed that Elan drivers never wave either. Miserable bastards

There are some roads around Whipsnade Zoo (Dunstable) (ashrigdge) and Ivinghoe Beacon, lots of national speed limit stuff. Drove around there a few months back.

Cool
where abouts is that. I only tend to blast down the Hemel - Stalbans road and turn around at the round about and come back.

Is that FWD Elans or proper Elans, James?

I used to have a '68 Elan, and always used to wave/flash *all* other Lotus drivers (in fact all other drivers of Brit sports cars)- strangely, it only seemed to be Elsie drivers and S2 Elans who didn't wave back. I put it down to the fact that most of them were driven by computer geeks or young exec types with no sense of Lotus heritage, who probably didn't even know that it was a Lotus waving/flashing them!

Mind you, I used to forget that I wasn't driving the Elan sometimes, too, resulting in a fair few Lotus drivers round Leeds wondering why the hell some prat in a Saab Turbo was waving at them...

We've probably exchanged waves then. I'm usually pootling around the town centre in a bloody loud S1. Can't miss it - absolutely filthy blue T reg.
