My tyre is screwed!

I was just checking my tyres after putting the car away and I discovered a screw sticking out of the nearside front tyre, about half an inch from the shoulder.

So I need to fork out for two new Advan Neova fronts (I don't want to mix a brand new tyre with one with 3mm).

The thing is I need the car to go to BTaP on Saturday so I need new tyres fitted TOMORROW. And I can't drive anywhere that would require me to drive at > 30mph so where in Cambridge can I get a couple of new Advan Neova LTS tyres?

Any chance buyatyre.com would be able to sort me out tomorrow?

Please help! Cheers

Unlikely. If its not on the sidewall though, you should be able to get a repair and have it plugged. Won't cost much to be honest.

You won't get it repaired if it's that close to the shoulder, or at least a dealer shouldn't repair it. Most of the tyre places should be able to get you a couple of Yokos overnight and put them on first thing. There's a guy on the Chesterton side of Elizabeth Bridge, turn left immediately after the petrol station and he's on the right, who got a pair of Yokos for me next day.

I'm in Cambridge today, you can borrow the spare off my Pug 306 if you want it - its a 185/60/R14

Cambridge Performance Tyres took it off to look this morning and concluded that it can't be repaired.

Pat, You have mail. I wouldn't be suprised if your fronts are virtually brand new while your rears are bald with your nutty car!

Cuzza, I know the place you mean. Do you have a number (or name for me to look it up)?

Cheers

Big thanks to Felix7

I drove down to Sinclaires this afternoon and picked up his used fronts which I'll get fitted first thing tomorrow before going up to BTaP.
