Yeap easy. I'm 6"4 and fit in S1 with no probs. The S2 affords more room.
Your knee may clash with the gear knob when in 5th but it's not really a problem...

If you get a short shift lever for £100 ish then you can adjust the 5th gear position to suit - well worth the upgrade for reduced throw too.

I'm 6'4" fit in my S2 fine.

Tall seat backs in S2's prevent the painful interaction between head and rollbar that I suffered in an accident in my S1.

I have a friend that is 6 foot 2 but has a long body rather than legs and when I took him out for a spin in my S2 his head stuck out of the top.

6' 2" here & fit in an S2 fine - in fact the seat isn't quite the whole way back

My friend who is 6' 8" can fit in the passanger side, and once drove it about a mile, but isn't too comfy!

I'm 6ft and nearly 15stone (rugby player) and I admit the standard gear lever does rest against my left knee in 5th... but my seat is not all the way back so I think 6'2" would fit in easy.. (s2 111s)

Don't know if this rates as off topic, but does anyone else have opposite problem - my g/f is 5 foot nothing and claims she can't see out of the Elise well enough to feel comfortable driving it.

Any shortarses (or partners of shortarses) out there with experience of a solution? Any good booster seats around, perhaps?

My girlfriend's a half pint and her feet don't reach the passager foot rest. Flinging it round corners makes her legs fly all over the place!

I'm 6 foot and about 14 stone and I fit in just fine, it's bit snug with my mate who's the same sort of size but it's not such a bad thing in the colder weather

For the shorter driver, I believe you can tunr the drivers seat rails round and that moves the seat positioin forward a bit, there is a thread on here somewhere about booster cushions!

For the passenger side, if your only passenger is your girlfriend then you can move the footrest forward as it's only attached to the floor by velcro. The footwell is tapered IIRC so it'll look a bit odd but it should make thing more comfortable.

I have the same problem - see earlier thread (Booster seat) which bogie has answered

One that is firmly on the list.
