Slicks for 340R/Elise

New Avons could make tracks days all the more interesting

Any track day enthusiasts wanting slick tyres for their 340R or Elise S1 has had a tough search on their hands. Tyres of the right size were difficult to source and those that were determined to go the slick route have had to source second hand tyres from race teams as they've not been available for sale to the public.

Now that's changed thanks to Avon. Their racing division developed a tyre this year specifically for the Elise S1 and 340R. Testing has shown them capable of delivering a couple of seconds per lap at Donington.
