does it state 111s on the log book?

hi, a bit of a weird question i know but does it state 111s on the logbook? reason being i am going to look at a 1999 111s at the w/e that has had the bell and covil 170 sprint conversion done on it and want to make sure that it was originally a 111s.

The 111S Log Book will say

LOTUS
ELISE 111S
CONVERTIBLE

IIRC the B+C Super 170 VVC upgrade is an engine modification on the 111S.

Seconded ,111s always say on the log book, seen enough of em!

You shouldn't even need to look at the log book. There are lots of differences if only subtle by glancing at the car.

Rear Plastic Spats on the rear arches, different wheels with 225 instead of 205 tyres, cookie cutter front grille, carbon dash, padded seats, rear spoiler etc

They could of course individually put all these on....but doubt they put every single one on.
