Lotus going in to fashion?

Wandering down Deansgate (One of the main shopping streets) in Manchester yesterday when I saw a notice in shop window.

'Lotus Ribble Valley Require – a shop manager …experience of clothing sales.'

This shop is an empty unit with just the room to swing a medium sized cat and simple shop type doorway.

So are we going to see Lotus lifestyle outlets springing up flogging T shirts, baseball caps, Norwich City tops, etc?

Any one knows of one of these has opened near you? What are they selling?

On a second though what do you think will be the key characteristic of Lotus clothing

Very fast – looks fantastic – costs a fortune to repair when the zip busts?

Funny you should say that, the zip on my Lotus fleece is bust...

I like the Lotus branded clothing they sell but I'm not sure there's enough of it to warrant setting up a full shop for it anywhere other than the factory!

Bell & Colvill have a separate merchandise shop around the corner from the main dealer.

which should meet up for a drink!!

i read that, that store will house merchandise etc and also a show car (probably s2 111s) and also be a point where people can order and pick up their cars.

the elise is going to turn into a TT, i.e. everywhere

But its going to be fun getting a elise in that space with still room to move.

Drink - as I have nothing better to do I'm going to wander over to Macc to see where the NORLOG crew are.
