Just got back from viewing a lovely 12.5k mile S1 in Suffolk.

All initially looks good to me except one thing I'm slightly cautious of. The inside of the front clam and bonnet and the tips of the outer lip edges (if you follow me) are dark blue. Looking at the inside of the rear clam (pulling away the boot bag) the colour is silver. Does it sound like the front's been replaced with a resprayed clam? Can't see any prominent overspray or masking marks...

The car has the original alloy boot lid and MMCs. Anything in particular I should be aware of with this model?

TIA

Yeah sounds like it might be a resprayed clam. Ask him why its had a new clam? If you aren't happy with his answer you can just walk away, plenty of cars in the sea (although I think they were mostly german on that transporter? )

Definitely worth checking it hasn't been writted off etc.
