Exige fuel tank

Hi guys

Basic one but couldn't find any info on the Wiki etc.

What size is the fuel tank in an Exige S2, and what sort of range are people getting on longer runs? Currently in the market for one but need to make sure that it can go a bit of distance (as it will be my only car).

I think the tank is officially 40 litres so you can cram 41 or 42 in it when you're almost totally dry.

Useful range is 250 miles plus touring or on the motorway, as they aren't that thirsty

I drove from Newcastle to Aylesbury on one tank without really making an effort to save fuel...approx 250 miles. The fuel light was on but ive managed another 30-40 miles with the light on so 300+ is easily do able. Exige S BTW. If you looking at a N/A Exige is probably on par with a Golf TDI....
