Touch up paint for Black wheels

Hello all,
I have an S2 with the optional black painted wheels. Does anyone know where I can get touch up paint for these wheels ? All the Lotus dealers tell me they dont stock paint for the wheels and advised me to goto halfords .... but I cant tell which Halfords paint matches ... they all look similar.
Can anyone help ?

hi,
if you go to a halfords "ripspeed" store (where theres LOTS of stereos/systems/performance gear, normally where the local max-power crew hang out) there is normally a paint mix desk (normally with the parts desk). if you give them a paint code they will mix the exact colour on the spot.
find out from your dealer where the paint code for the wheels is located and then pop-along. if your "local" is a not a "ripspeed" version ask where the nearest one is as they will know.
hope this helps, oh and maybe it be an idea to get your wheels protected, maybe another layer of lacquer?

This'll be interesting for you, as lotus couldn't match the colour themselves. They could sell you a set that matched, but if you ever need a replacement, apparently its random if it will match your wheels.
Of course this is just what a 111S owner said on BCBBS, so could be rubbish. Why not email lotus tech support and ask. They are very good about answering queries.

Starting to notice a few chips on my car now which I want to tidy up.

they dont have the code to mix the right quantities. only available through dealers
