Will I get a s1- 111s for 15k?

I am planning on getting my Elise in jan/feb time, hopefully when prices are a little less! Is it realistic to expect to find: Azure blue or tittanium, mk1 111s, with hard top for around the 15k mark?? There doesn't seem to be that many 111s's coming up for sale, did see my exact spec few months back, but haven't got the cash now, and it sold of course!!

i think you can get a 111s for that sought of money, but not from a dealer.

have a look at a few of the previous threads which relate to how some elise prices are going up (so you better move quick!!), and as to whether to buy from a dealer or private. i bought private and the money i saved (about 2k), i'll use to cover any problems (like my window shagging itself) that occur.

anyhow I think that jan/feb is the best time to buy a sports car/soft top...it just makes sense doesnt it?

Halfords Nylon and Rubber Lubricant, that's what you want!
squirt liberally into the window runner grooves every couple of weeks. - best thing I ever found!

twice - both times fixed under warranty (otherwise it would have cost over 200 quid!), but since the Halfords stuff, not at all, and they have been up and down more times than ???? in a ????!
