Its made its first public outing not quite as sexey as the sketch we all seen the other week it says the toyota engine works well and the car will be priced between 32-35 it also says that there will be a new esprit and a match for a boxter

Just bought that issue as well, exige doesn't look as good as sketch as you say, and infact doesn't look as focused as the original!! If I was in the market to buy one or wait, i'd get a mk1 and enjoy!

Think using black was a mistake, you can't appreciate the lines as much as if they had chosen a lighter colour like silver...

I suspect they deliberately used black to hide the detailing - & it's a bit of a development hack judging by the pock-marks. Looks identical to the orange drawing though.

Tellingly, there's no external view of the cars static in normal light (the only one there is, is in semi-darkness) - I want to see the splitter, rear venturi & where the exhaust exits.

Hopefully next month's EVO will have a bit more as there were only limited driving impressions as well.

IMHO i would go for a s1 exige with 260 bhp engine you would do that for the same price and think of the fun i still think the s1 is a better car than the s2
