Is the Phoenix Motorsports conversion reversible by this i mean can you go back to vphd if you want to make the car original in the future?

Why would you though?

My car was a Sport 135R and yet apart from the plaque in the car, most things have been changed, the engine was goosed so in went a honda, nitrons, APs etc etc so off come the 135R badges. The last thing I would do now is take all that off to revert back to "original". Besides it's worth more converted.

Sounds like a fair point Mc, these cars getting rarer, many being or been thrashed (as is their purpose), genuine original spec ones may start to gain more kudos with collectors and speculators who arent interested in "improvement" mods. Nobody wants a model T with a fiat diesel in it even tho it would "improve" it for use.

I was musing over this in response to the 'how many S1 Exiges are left' thread.

It's an interesting speculation... historically, values of classis Lotus cars tend to be enhanced by modifications that are regarded as genuine improvements (eg. Climax FPF engine in an Eleven, Hermes conversion on a Europa), only when the modification was done out of financial expediency and doesn't improve performance (eg. Ford Crossflow or Alfa Twin Cam into an Elan) does it degrade the value.

Particularly if the modification was done 'in period', it may be that it will only add to the cars value when it comes to be regarded as a classis, due to the increased performance and the additional interest value on the car's history?

Time will tell...

Depends how long it going to be before the Mrs kicks up a storm about that useless bloody car engine taking up valuable storage space in the garage/shed.
