Hi - I'm considering driving to France in the near future - beforehand I'd like to check if I can get my Elise on the eurotunnel train without taking off the front bumper on a ramp!!

Has anybody has an Elise on a train / boat before?

Not me personally, but I know other people have with no problems. They have ramps to lessen the incline if they think your car is too low to board. Just board slowly and you'll be fine.

Hi,

I went to England 2 times this year with Eurotunnel, driving my Elise.
It is no problem at all to enter and exit the train with the Elise. My Elise is a MK1 not lowered.

If you're at all worried, just wait until you get to the front of the loading queue, then call one of the marshalls over and say that you want to be on the lower deck. That way you won't be going up or down any nasty slopes.

Yeah ask for lower deck on principle, but really there is nothing to go wrong imho.

Wtf is going on with Euro* prices though? They want 330 quid for a week long return next year?
