Has anyone fitted these themselves? I'll be doing it shortly but as it looks very tricky I could really do with some help. Any guides on the net? I have been told by elise parts that you definately do not need to remove the front clam.

Do you mean the side repeators?

Side repeaters I believe you peel back the wheel arch liners to get access to. Don't quote me though as I've never done it. They are just corsa repeaters if you want to pick them up cheap.

No, I mean the indicators right on the nose of the car. Wanting to fit the clear/smoked type like on the 111s. Theres no clear way of getting to them though, the radiator gets in the way quite a bit.

I fitted mine tonight!

A little bit fiddly but easiest way is to put car on full lock, pull down the top of the wheelarch liner and reach in behind the front clam.

Lenses are held in place by two 7mm nylock nuts with backing washer. You will need to use a small ratchet and socket because the nuts are quite tight and cant be undone by hand and there is little room to get a spanner moving freely in there.

Be careful not to loose the nuts as they are tiny but you can undo them by hand for the last few turns!

Good luck, it's worth the effort as the clear lenses look great(especially on my black car!!)

Sounds like a nightmare job. Especially if it took you until 2am!

Took about 10 mins on the second side after I ripped my arms to pieces on the rad cover etc on the first side, which took about half an hour!!

I had insomnia that night and spent about 3 hours on the seloc site, hence the post at 2.30 am.

Got back from Track day at Bedford a couple of hours ago. Had a great day!

Regards
