Sport 190 Throttle Bodies on 111S1
Discussion
Hello All.
Purchased the 190 Sport Throttle Bodies and carbon airbox as advertised here (Nice one Keith!)
Question is:- has anybody had a similiar experience of fitting these to a VVC engine?
Also does anybody know if they can be installed using standard GEMS Map (without re-map through aftermarket ECU eg Emerald)?
I understand that their potential won't be released fully until an aftermarket ECU installed, but funds should allow later. I'm just concerned about leaning out at high rpm and melting things.......
Thanks in advance!

The MEMS on your 111S won't like it one bit as it's calibration is completely wrong for throttle bodies.
It may start and even run (a bit), but other than that it will drive awfully and the fuel/ignition mapping will be completely wrong.
To be able to use these you really need to get an Emerald and (at the moment) get rid of the VVC gubbins until the Emerald can control this too. (work-in-progress as far as I know, but not ready for release..)
Bye, Arno.
