Indicator stopped working S1 Elise

Very frustatingly my indicator stopped working this morning. I've had moments previously where I needed to re-activate the stalk a couple of times before it would start blinking, but today.... nothing at all.

I did a search here but came up empty.

My guess is that the stalk is the root cause, but advise is greatly appreciated.

Don't know is its the same on the S1 but in my old S2 i had knocked the hazard warning light switch getting in/ out. Fiddled with that and indicators started working again.
Give that a go, hope its something simple

Well, pushing the hazard button won't make the indicator light go on, but strange as it may sound operating the alarm will make all lights blink. I'm puzzled...

Sounds like you need a new stalk then.

Try turning the hazard lights on very fast about 10 - 15 times. I think it is something to do with the relay in the hazard warning button.

Failing that I would suggest that it may be a problem with the indicator stalk.

Surely if the stalk was bust, the hazard lights would still work? Got me a bit baffled.

Just tried to give the hazard button a good wank - no result.
I was thinking "stalk failure" as well until I noticed the failing hazrd botton as well.
Where is the blinker relay located and can I get a replacement from EliseParts? (Can't seem to find the right one)
