Is it possible to add 2 extra speakers to a racetech like the sports tourer?

yes you can buy the speaker grilles and pods etc from Lotus dealers - the wiring is already there...not cheap though...probably £80-100 + whatever speakers you fancy in 10cm (4") size

I would get the short shift lever too for £100 (www.eliseparts.com) - best VFM upgrade Ive done

essentials (IMHO) exhaust, sports cat or CRP, induction, short shift...should come to about £850 leaving some dosh for speakers

Would not worry about the speakers you will not be able to hear them unless you go for something big with a 1000w amp and even then they will have to fight for attention.

Has any one tried headsets - keep thinking it would be a good solution for an intercom / music if it was not for the fact I would look and feel like a right T*at

Ok screw that idea the sound system is good enough 4 what i need (below 50mph) as it is. I've ordered the gear linkage & short shift but i'm even getting used 2 the gearbox. I think i will spend the money on new tyres 'Yokohama Advan' & maybe brakes.
