01895 234567 is their number for a local fitter - but you need to get the one the insurance company requests.

or www.thankstotracker.com

Had a night mare with the tracker. Got my car booked in at a garage and then called Tesco insurence to see what kind of tracker it should be. The first responce was "We accept any tracker it just has to have one fitted" not being quite so sure that this guy knew what he was talking about I rang again and this guy said it has to be a THACHAM approved Cat 1 or Cat 2 Navtrack 4000. So I got to the garage and asked the guy if he did that model and apparently it doesnt exist + THACHAM only applies to alarms. After 2 more calls I was given a compleately different model and then finaly they addmitted they didnt know and the people who did know dont work on the weekend so could I please call back on Monday.

It's so fustrating because I could have gone out and spent £500 on a tracker that isnt accepted by the insurance company. And now my cars sitting in a garage waiting for tecos to tell me which one I should fit.

Still cant realy get a straight answer so I've asked the guy on the phone to write one of the models that he thinks they definitely reconise and write that I will be covered if I install that one and then fax it over. I've now made at least 15 phone calls just to try and find out which tracker to fit. I've gone for the RAC Trackstar 24 hour Protector with Battery backup so hopefully it'll be ok.

Cool I told the garage to go ahead with fitting the Protector so hopefully that'll do the trick
