My dealer promised me a removable steering wheel for the 2001 Elise when it was purchased. Three months later he continues the song "factory is out of stock". There are a numerous ones on the aftermarket, has anyone had any experiance with them, which brand would be best?

I have a MOMO wheel and boss which although was fitted by my Lotus dealer when I bought the car, I'm sure I have seen in Demon Tweeks or some such motorsport equipment merchants. You may have to don your Nova boy baggy trousers and back to front cap and look out said shops...

I got the Lotus one fitted at Northwich a few months ago so they are in stock. It's expensive but didn't fancy making a mess of doing it myself and only having a web site to turn to!

Here's mine: http://groups.msn.com/ELISEREPUBLIC/tt.msnw?Page=Last

Got everything from Geary. Fitted it myself, and should only take 20 mins.
