Noise Levels

Hello all

Don't know if anyone can help, I have a Janspeed system, Hurricane Induction and cat replacement pipe fitted to a S2 111s. I have been invited to a "freebe" at Castle Combe soon and know that they have a 100db noise limit.

Does anyone out there have the same/similar mods and know what their noise levels were? Also has anyone ever tried to reduce their noise levles for a track day and if so how easy was it?

Dunno about your setup, but 100 seems ok. Is that static or driveby though?

As to quietening it, you can get things called supertraps that clamp into the exhaust exits, but with a double headered exhaust I don't think they will work well. Also they get hot, and may rub on clam etc. etc. not really viable.

A silenced CRP might be an idea if you find you need to make some changes.
