Obscure one here for you fellas' (and lasses), but a touch of nostalgia indulgence for me. Does anyone on here either own or know who does own either a Norfolk Mustard S1 with 160 alloys and carbon ITG air filter registration R807VLD, or an Azure Blue 111S S1 supplied originally by Stratton Motors in the March/April of 1999, Registration of T486JEX.

I was explaining the Lotus Carlton to a friend of mine yesterday at a crud Motorway service station, when on the exit road a norfolk mustard and azure blue elise pair drove past. The Blue one I mention above is the first elise I ever had a ride in (for my 18th Birthday) and was driven very fast along some very flat Norfolk countryside by a then salesman at Stratton, and the Yellow one mentioned was the very first elise I got to drive. It was my dads and after months of inventive pestering, and years of less than subliminal badgering, he let me borrow it for the week. First time i ever (on a private runway officer!!!) ever drove over 100, ever overtook a ferrari, ever got a snog form a woman I had met only 30 seconds earlier!!! Happy times.

I'd love to find out where they live now (without being too scientific and filling in DVLA forms)and hear about what pleasure they're giving people now!

Come on people, someone must have a little idea about the whereabouts. I mean, I know there are thousands of these wee dreams on the road, but i'm sure someone on here with their encyclopedic knowledge of the mark and their eagle eyes, must know something about the whereabouts...

Lovely stuff, thanks for that info... I know that the 111S T reg used to be owned by someone by the name of James Brierley, and that the R-reg would have been sold by Castle Lotus after they took it as PX on my Dad's new 111R in the March of 2004 if this might help anyone...
