A quick reminder in case you've been locked in a cupboard for the last couple of weeks and didn't know about the London to Brighton run that is taking place this weekend to raise lots of money for 10 very worthy UK charities.

Hi guys.

Just thought I would drop a line, normally navigate around the TVR forums, but out with the family at the weekend, and saw a rather smart convoy out on the B2028 in West Sussex, thought there must have been a reason for so many Lotus's going on the same way. Thought I would check out on here and low and behold the answer. Made me wish I was out in mine, (but 4 into a 2 seater don't go).
I hope the day was a success, you had cracking weather for the run, and hope you raised the money you wanted. Keep up the good work, (one of the best ways to raise money being able to do something enjoyable like that).

Thanks for the comments Paul - the money's still coming in but I'm sure it'll be a good total. We had 161 start the run at Crystal Palace, and 140-something in the car park at Brighton.

Hello to Webmistress - we had a brief chat before the start. Were there any other PHers there?

161 cars crossed the start + another 10 or so cars who didn't as they packed up the start area.

The convey picked up several cars up on the way down and met 10 or so in the car park who had been there since the morning setting up the finish area + local Lotus owners who saw the comotion went home and got their own cars - so roughly at its height 200 cars at Brighton.

A fantastic day all round. SELOC are well on the way to raising £15,000.

A big thank you to all those who took part, donated items for the auction, helped organise and raised money.

OK, I'll take the right-hand two please Pat.
No, the middle two... oh I don't know, can't I take all four?
