Hello All.
Finally purchased a 111s Type 79 (Mk1) which is fantastic and I understand quite rare.
Couple of questions for you all:
1. Is 111 pronounced one eleven, one hundred and eleven, one one one etc?
2. Most of my time in car is bombing up and down A3 at 80mph. Is there any way I can further reduce noise ie full carpet set? I find the ringing in my ears lasts for about an hour after a blast!
3. It is hot - anybody tried retro fitting air con or maybe reducing heat soak in cockpit.
4. Does everybody stare at Elises!
I know,I know, I'll be wanting to put a blanket over my knees soon!
Cheers
Paul

one eleven ess (as above)

as above - I wear ear plugs on long motorway journeys otherwise you arrive feeling like youve just come out of a nightclub !

not possible - take roof off and wear cool clothes is only option
4. Does everybody stare at Elises!
