anyone use Toyo Proxes?

I can get a set for approx half the cost of Yoko Advan LTS.

Road or track use?

For the road I find them very good. Loads of grip in both the wet and dry and they warm up quickly. Smooth running and fantastic brake performance.

They are not very happy on the track though. The quick warmup means they tend to overheat and go 'off' after a few laps. This is also cause by relatively soft sidewalls, which allow more tread movement and tyre 'roll'.

All in all it's a good tyre IMHO, but if you regularly track the car (eg. 4+ times a year) then the Advans are probably a better choice.

I may do eventually, but basically it's my daily drive and I don't want to stuff it!
