Interior scuffing

Anyone got any advice on preventing, or minimising, the scuffing which occurs on the interior ledge inside the cockpit? The fabric covering which obviously takes most of the friction and load from getting in and out of the car has become worn and a tad frayed. Keen to ensure that this gets no worse. Anyone know how much replacements are?
