Lotus Elise S3

Does anyone know any details about the S3? All I have heard is that its a modified version of the S2 so that it passes US law. I have an American friend that is interested in one but is curious as to how different it will be to my S2. Anyone know if it will look different?

The answer to that is up in the air at the moment, with a hoped anouncement in September, or maybe January 04 at the LA auto show (which is where they have made their announcements for the last 2 years)

Lotus facts are that it will be available from mid '04 (two and a half years after I put the deposit down)

Rumour is that the S3 will be as close as possible to the current S2 with a Toyota engine in it, putting out about 190 bhp.
