Monaco,
The 275 HP Honda K20A conversion that I build can be had from 3 sources in the UK:
Brooke Kensington in Bicester
Maidstone Sports Cars in Headcorn
Speed Sport at Silverstone
You can buy the conversion kit directly from me as well as the 275 HP engine if you're inclined to do the conversion yourself.
Blink is not associated with Prototype Racing in any way.
Cheers,
Joe

Joe,

If you have issues with Blink then please pursue them directly rather than via our forums. It's potentially libelous and we at PistonHeads don't want to get drawn into it.

I never thought an exhaust manifold could be funny!

Joe - I'm not doubting it does the business, but have you ever watched the opening sequence to Monty Python's Flying Circus?

p.s. somebody remind me how much the kit costs for DIY...

that manifold is a work of art in itself - too good to be hidden away

I think DIY kit costs over here is around £7K by the time its shipped and had vat/customs etc added on...then you need an engine ......

Adrian,
Rest assured, I wasn't thinking about Monty Python while I endured the pain of giving birth to this particular little beast, but now that you mention it I can see why it gave you a bit of a chuckle.
Bogie,
You're a couple thousand too high in your estimation of the cost. The conversion kit is $7,600, which at today's rate of .614312 comes out to 4,669 Quid. I hate the tax man as much or more than anyone so I declare the value at about 1/6 of actual which keeps the VAT and Duty quite low.
Cheers,
Joe

I love that manifold.

Used to have a tubular manifold on my punto and that was a piece of Italian rubbish by comparison.

Hi Joe MacCarthy

Thanks for the info. just out of interest, If I was to purchase the kit and engine direct from yourself how much would we be talking ?? and would customs hit me for import duty ??

I'm just making enquiries at the moment as I drive a TVR chim at present and couldn't live with a standard elise, but love the idea of getting an old S1 elise and turning it into something more rapid !!!

Cheers

Hi Joe

thats good news - Im used to working everything out that I buy from the US and converting $ to £ by the time our taxman has had his hand in it

Monaco,
You'll be into it for about 10,000 Quid.
