I want to chance the alloy wheels of my mk2 into the original alloy wheels of the mk2 111 (8 spoke).
So what's the price for them? Any adress to order?

Price I don't know, but you should be able to order them from 'your friendly Lotus dealer' or perhaps try:

Think you may need hub adaptors for this...

Are you sure you want those wheels? Don't forget they have very narrow fronts, which causes a lot of understeer. I'm looking to sell mine and replace them with the sport 190 wheels...shame i'm in hk...but i could do a deal with you anyway...

Nope. The S2 111S wheels fit on the 'normal' S2 without a problem.

The other way around is not allowed according to the part-list, but I suspect that's because the normal 6-spoke S2 wheels have a very low weight-carrying capacity and the 111S is too heavy for them.

Bye, Arno.

Partially that's true.. But if you re-set the geometry at the front to somewhat more agressive settings it already removes most of the understeer as it is.

Just drop the camber to -1° (usually that's as far as it will go on the S2) and set the toe OUT at the front to 0°15" TOTAL.

Set the rear to -2° camber and the toe IN at the rear between 0°30" and 1°00" TOTAL setting.

Tyre wear will increase somewhat, but it will also be much more 'grippy'.

At least it's a cheap thing to try before investing in wheels and tyres.

Oh BTW.. If you get the Sport190 wheels you can't just slap on the Yokohama A048's.. The normal suspension won't cope with the loads these can generate. These should only be used with a sports suspension.

You could run the Sport190 wheels with 'regular' street tyres though.

Bye, Arno.
