K&N in IGT carbon airbox

has anyone out there replaced the IGT foam filter with an K&N 57i cone?
Im not really a fan of foam filters after changing from a piper cross to a K&N on a previous car.

any performance difference (K&N in IGT airbox)?
Sound difference?

does anyone know if it would fit!!!
