Titanium Silver - new colour

Hi,

Was just wondering if anyone could help me out here. Ordered my elise a few weeks ago and was intendeding to order it in Gunmetal grey, but was told for the 04 model its now been replaced by Titanium Silver which is slightly lighter in colour, anyone seen this colour or got a picture of it ? to give me an idea before I take delivery

Top colour on an S1. Not sure about S2, Starlight black for me.

Im happy now, I was getting some second thoughts after seeing the gunmetal one in real life and in photographs. Some photographs gunmetal looked amazing, some it looked really really dull. Was trying to get a nice contrast between the black detailing of the fins in the bonnet, bumper and doors etc with black wheels also.

But after seeing that Picture Im happy. Cant wait now

Gunmetal looked great, but the paint was really problematic and had hideous stone chip problems.

You are as well without it imho.

I photographed two elise's last September one was T7GGA pre gullwing hardtop, and just fell in love with them. So I just had to get one of my own.

Looks great!!

Havent had any problem with stonechips etc!!!

New colour looks cool though

Ive seen two in the Guildford area, one was in the odeon carpark one night, was a 120 with black wheels think it was a 51 plate, other was a 111S but from a distance looked just black wheels. Chased it up the motorway for a closer look

Me too - gunmetal with black alloys. Looks great. No stoneships. I'm glad they're discontinuing it though because it makes mine rarer and thus even cooler!
